I am back from an almost year-long absence, but boy am I back with some goodies!

Beauty Fresh is having a warehouse sale right now, which is why I'm barely editing any of the photos to push this post out before it ends to give you girls a quick peek of it before it ends at 7pm today (19th August 2017)!

The sale is located at 1 Jalan Kilang, #04-03 which is in an industrial building that is accessible via buses, cabs or private cars. Which brings me to the big question: is it worth the hassle?

Firstly, take a look at the brands the e-comm carries to get a rough idea of what brands will be available there. Compared to the Shiseido sale which carries brands like Ettusais, Shiseido, and etc., Beauty Fresh's includes brands like Glamglow, Chanel (gasp), Jo Malone (gasp!) and Byredo (GASP! 😮) on top of brands like Nars, Kiehl's and Origins.

However, some of the stuff are going for real cheap because it's expiring this year. Hence, if you're looking at wanting to give something a try without shelling out some serious dough before you commit, that's a good option to buy something cheap to see if you like it or not.

But enough chit chat, here are a couple of photos I managed to snap amidst the insane bargain hunting. I was texting my girls to see if they'd wanted anything, and it was mostly skincare stuff hence the lack of make-up coverage!

They had a small section for Origins which has the full-sized famous Clear Improvement Active Charcoal mask ($34) which is a favourite of ours, and Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask ($41) which is meh. Travel-sized masks are going for $11 - $13, and the famous GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream at approximately $34-$38.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the Byredo section because it's infamous for its high price tag. Was quite upset that they didn't have the perfumes in cult scents like Gypsy Water, Mojave Ghost and Baies but still, you can't beat a full-sized bottle at $108! Ovals are going for $60 which is still kind of steep in my opinion, but if you have the moolah, all power to you girl!

Jo Malone had sets of perfume + lotion + candle, but there wasn't any singular bottles which is a pity. The sets are still pricey in my opinion but there you go. Soaps are sold in both sets and in singles.

If you were hoping to grab some face products from Kiehl's, you might need to take note of this. While they didn't have some of the star products such as Midnight Recovery Concentrate, the Rare Earth Deep range or the Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution, they had lesser popular products and a lot of the man line.

The sale also carried brands such as YSL beauty, Lancome, Chanel, Bobbi Brown, Jurlique, Crabtree & Evelyn, SK-II and many more.

So, here's my two cents worth of the sale!

+ : More luxury brands compared to Shiseido's sale
+ : Went at 5pm on a Friday and queue time was about 5 minutes
+ : Prices of nearly-expired products were slashed like crazy

- : Location not as convenient as Shiseido's which is usually accessible via trains
- : Some star products of certain lines were not available

And here are my loots!

i. Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask ($34)
ii. Kiehl's Amino Acid Conditioner ($26)
iii. Kiehl's Calendula Deep Cleansing Foaming Face Wash ($37)
iv. Tony Moly Earth Beauty Bubble Mask Sheet - 5 pieces ($23)
v. Origins Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay - travel sized ($11)
vi. Lancome Matte Shaker - Flower Power ($26)
vii. YSL Mascara Volume Shocking - Noir ($30)

Till next time (maybe even next year?),
xx, F
